We are all living in hope for something; not least an end to the challenging times which we are experiencing at present. The children of key workers attending Marsden Primary School have shared some of their hopes with us. They created mosaic letters for the word HOPE and wrote their thoughts on pictures of doves. These have been displayed on the railings of our church in Church Lane so that those people walking past can see them, read them and consider what they too are hoping for.

This week’s sermon from our priest, the Reverend Vernon Cuthbert, was about hoping for the coming of God’s Kingdom here on earth and how we as Christians are called to help make that happen in what we do and say.

Let us all put our Hope in the Lord and work towards making His presence felt within our community.
